Ugh.

Am I the only person who doesn't want to watch Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World? I'm prejudging right now, so if I take my words back, I'll take my words back.

From whatever I see about it on Tumblr, it seems like it's a movie that tries way too hard to be all cute and spunky with catchphrases like "I'm in lesbians with you". I don't get it. If there's one thing I hate about the cinematic industry of today, it's how hard they try to be quirky and have eccentric characters posing as normal human beings. Only (as little faith I have left in our next generation) people don't talk like that at all. It's like Juno all over again. What kind of fucking idiot tries to be quirky and goes around saying shit like "hold on, it's my hamburger phone." I mean, Juno worked out for the better, but that's as quirky as I'll take any movie.

Also, I fucking hate Michael Cera's acting. It's the same fucking character in every movie. I don't think it's cute that he's a nerdy, awkward guy who's somehow attractive. Those guys don't exist.

Maybe I have it all wrong. Do I have it all wrong? Is it really worth the watch? Perhaps, I'll watch it with one of my bitches.
