Some spoilers ahead.

Okay, so even though I probably said, "What the fuck is this?" a shit load of times, I couldn't help, but laugh and enjoy it as much as I could... and that's a fucking lot. It features several skits and it's much more surreal than The Mighty Boosh. NFLC is completely Noel. His art comes to life and you take a jump into the colourful mindfuck, which is Noel Fielding' imagination.

I personally love it. I detest when people say it's a bad replacement for The Mighty Boosh. Mind you, no one said it would be a replacement. I still have half a hope that the Boosh will make a huge comeback when Julian is settled down and his kids are a bit older.

Anyway, enough of the Boosh. Luxury Comedy is fucking beautiful. I found myself thrown into Noel's universe and at first, I was a bit weary, confused and not understanding whatever was going on. Then, BOOM. THE MOON. MIKE FIELDING. RICH FULCHER. So many nostalgic feelings came rushing back and I couldn't even feel feelings anymore for a moment. Then, Dondylion. The best thing I've ever seen Noel do (recently). It was funny, entertaining, and to be honest, a bit sad. As he went bonkers, so did I, laughing.

I could go on about this show, but I think you have to see it for yourself. Also, the theme music. By God, that is a catchy tune. Good job, Serg and Noel! I've replayed it so much, it's stuck in my head even when it's off.

Next episode, they're bringing in the Jelly Fox. I can't wait. I really, really can't.

I just finished The Metamorphosis audiobook. Two hours of Benedict Cumberbatch's voice was fantastic, but I learned how fantastic of a novella it is. Franz Kafka's work touched on so many things. I did not expect the story to be like this at all. It was rather bleak and depressing, but it opened my eyes.

How money can run a family's way of functioning.
How physical appearance can change even the closest people you know.
How limited a love one's sympathy and patience can be.

I felt quite dejected towards the end. Yes, it was a brilliant play on the "metamorphosis" that when Gregor changes into something ugly, his sister morphs into a grown woman. Like a butterfly from a cocoon, but the way the family just rejects their son with limited patience just breaks my heart. Especially when he was their financial support for a long time. Once money becomes thin, blood becomes as runny as water.

Anyway, I can't believe they don't teach this in school and that I've never been able to come across it. It's just a brilliant, eye-opening story.

I'm on an armchair, right in front of my TV, which is connected to my laptop. My laptop is connected to a keyboard and wireless mouse. I am currently splitting the screen between this post pane and Sherlock playing. This may be the most comfortable and lazy position I've assumed in a while. I could live in this. I'm going to definitely invest in a HD TV and put it in my room as well as an armchair.

I've lived in Queens all my life (well, partially Brooklyn, but forget about that) and I've never been to Georgia Diner, which is a couple blocks from my house. This place has been opened for decades and yesterday was my first day going with Rosa.

Well, it was well worth it. The food was banging.

We started off with salads and bread, which the diner by my house doesn't offer (and the food there is not really great). Then Rosa ordered rigatoni pasta with chicken and sausage. I had the tortellini carbonara. Both, huge, delicious dishes at the great price of $13.

Then Rosa ordered this chocolate mousse crumble. To me, it looked kind of phallic looking, but it was delicious.

Then, we went to the mall and hung out with Gigi and went back to my place. Good day yesterday.

I bumped into David at school on Thursday. It was really weird, really awkward, and short. At first, I felt resentment and then, just complete awkwardness because I was with Gigi.

Then, I realized I knew him for years. Way too long to just stay angry, especially over something as silly as a crush and unrequited infatuation. I mean, I've moved on from then. I've got other boys on my mind and there's someone special in my life now.

So, I added the kid on Facebook as an attempt to regain some friendship of whatever was left. Right now we're just at three sentences of the beginning of awkward chit-chat.

I mean, when he approached me yesterday, he seemed friendly while I was too shocked to react in a kind way. I kind of just wanted him to go away, but as soon as I walked out the building I realized I was being really rude and even went on to say, "Man, I fucking hate that kid" to Gigi, which caused her to turn around to make sure he was out of earshot. I kind of immediately regretted saying that as soon as those words came out of my mouth because I don't really have a good reason to hate him.

He was more of a friend to me than someone I had a crush on and I let pure stupidity get in the way of that. I realized that I'm trying to be a better person and if David can't see past me being an stand-offish bitch for those 40 seconds of shocked resentment, then we're better off not talking. If we decide to continue on as acquaintances, then great. I can then restore some hope into my bank of humanity.

Well, today felt really strange, but in a good way. I woke up at one, late for my hair appointment and got my haircut, nothing too drastic. Did my eyebrows and realized that Kelly, the bride/close family friend was at the salon too. We talked for a bit and expressed our excitement for tomorrow and tonight's bridal shower. (I'll express these lovely nostalgic feelings later on.)

Then, I went to go get my mom who was doing her nails at another friend's nail salon (that's basically a shop in the entrance of the subway). There, I offered to help Adrian, my mom's friend's son some help with his essay on banning e-cigarettes on planes (Ironic, eh? Since I have one in my possession right now...) and got some food. A man who regularly asks for a quarter everyday at the entrance of the subway was there. I made about three trips up and down the stairs, past him. I bought a drink and offered him a dollar.

I don't know why, but I felt like I should. I passed him about three times with something new in hand. I had my hair cut, my eyebrows did, food was five bucks, a drink was a dollar, and I had my iPad on my person. Really, what's a dollar to me if I've been mindlessly spending cash on things I probably won't recall later on tonight?

I'm not writing this because I'm trying to be holier than thou or brag that I did a semi-good deed. It was just the feeling when I saw his face light up that someone actually handed him a dollar. It was about 30 degrees today and it was cold as hell. He was just standing there, asking for change in a voice that was barely audible. He thanked me, "Thank you so much. I'm going to get a coffee so I can be warm inside. God bless you." I'm not religious, but I don't know why the last three words got to me. It was felt nice to hear "God bless you" (regardless of my skepticism of religion).

Sure, perhaps he gets government money or he's not as poor as he comes off as, but you know, even if the dollar goes for a beer instead of coffee (as he claimed), I hope I made his day a little better. Besides, it's really that cold today. If he didn't really want those quarters, why would he be standing there? The streets were empty and this is on Broadway, which is one of the busiest places in Queens. You're lucky if you even find parking. It was a good feeling not because I wanted to be like "Hey, I did this. Good karma for me." It's not about that. It's about seeing someone who's down on his luck and making his day a little brighter.

It was a nice cycle of good feelings because I went back downstairs and talked to Adrian about school. I told him that school can't be that bad because after middle school, it gets harder. He was talking about school and how he hated classwork. It felt good to talk to a kid for once because everything a kid says is so pure and not based on bullshit that is constantly laced in an older person's words.

Then, I got home and I took realized I do this routine thing everyday. I tend to look at the things on my wall, my artwork and study little details before I sit down and do whatever I'm about to do. I realized I cover my room in art because it sort of reminds me of going to a museum, even if it is my own work. I like studying every little detail, brushstroke and loose hairs of a cheap brush that stuck on the paper. I like studying faces and how a person's nose forms on their face or how their hair drapes before their eyes.

Yeah, that's basically what happened so far today. Now I'm just waiting to go to Kelly's. I probably made this whole passage longer than it has to be, but whatever. It's rare that I have so much to say. It's a good feeling.

I have an extensive collection of Justin Bieber songs in my iTunes. However, yesterday the fucking most ridiculous thing happened.

I was jamming to "Favorite Girl" by Bieber himself... because he's my guilty pleasure. I'm sorry. I like the little twerp. He's adorable and he reminds me of my little boy Alvin. However, as soon as the song ended, my computer exploded... well, not exactly, but iTunes froze, the screen flashed black and back to its normal screen a couple times.

Why am I not amused?

I think I'm so used to being attracted to this shy, innocent Bambi looking guy trying to look tough with a quiff and leather jacket. Then, he takes off his shirt with Miles Kane on stage and I'm all "UGH, NO." I liked it when he wore a polo shirt under a fucking jumper and under all that, he probably has a tank top on. I liked the layers.

Now he's wearing sleeveless vest t-shirts and I'm like "no bueno" no matter how sexy he actually looks.

She put BACON bits in my mash potatoes and made my favorite: Fried stuffed eggplants. I love this woman.

No wonder my dad's been married to her for 25 years. Everything she does is with love.

Also, nearly 30 more minutes until I can take my pain killers again. So, this is what it's like to be drug-dependent. I really like the numbness I get from it. It's really comfortable and it serves as a easy lull to fall asleep. Basically, I slept for over 12 hours today in three collective naps with my most wonderful AM sleep playlist.

I keep drifting in and out of sleep, but not like shock-waking up. Like gentle rises and falls like waves. I really like the feeling. Also, I like that I have this gauze to collect the blood I have to keep changing. It stops me from drooling like Shrinny does when he sleeps.

Getting my wisdom teeth pulled isn't as shitty as I thought it was. It just keeps freaking me out that I can feel the stitches with my tongue.

I should probably not be enjoying this as much as I do, but I do.

Now, onto ice cream!

I like the reoccurring American theme of all these videos for Suck It And See. However, I am so fucking confused by this video. The stripper/hooker, the hospital, the wedding dress and jail?

I'll put it all together when the "You and I" video comes out.

The thing about “Black Treacle” is that it is in fact what Alex uses in his hair. As you saw in the video, Alex puts down a can of black treacle and it skips to a different shot of Helders, the stripper and what not. Then, it switches back to Alex swooping his hair back and pulling down his fringey quiff.

Duh, logic. He uses treacle in his hair. That freak.
